TODDLER TUMBLING:  2-- 4 YEARS. This is an introduction to tumbling.

BEGINNING TUMBLING: 5 YEARS AND UP.  This beginning tumbling level will focus on rolls, cartwheels and bridges along with other foundational tumbling skills.

INTERMEDIATE TUMBLING: For AGES as determined by instructor.  This intermediate class will involve teaching and perfecting such skills as back walkovers, learning back handsprings, arials and beginning running tumbling.

TUMBLING FOR CHEER: INTERMEDIATE/ADVANCED as determined by instructor.  This class will focus on perfecting back handsprings, back tucks and running tumbling.  Strong tumbling skills such as those needed in successful Cheer will be incororated.

PRE-BALLET: 3-5 YEAR OLDS. This level focuses on development of motor skills, music appreciation, and very basic ballet technique. Some tumbling and tap are taught.

BALLET I: 5-9 YEAR OLDS. This level continues to focus on motor skills but also on muscle development, coordination and more advanced ballet techniques including beginning barre work.

BALLET II: 8-15 YEAR OLDS. This level focuses on more advanced ballet technique, more advanced barre techniques and beginning pointe work in the older students.

BALLET III: 11 AND UP: This is for the advanced student who has demonstrated the ability to accomplish more difficult technique. This student has had experience in pointe work. This is typically apprentice and company class level. To take classes at this level a student must have the approval of the Artistic Director.

TAP/JAZZ: 5-7 YEAR OLDS & 8 AND UP: Age and skill appropriate tap & jazz techniques will be taught. This is a fun class that expands the dance experience.

OTHER OFFERINGS: Hip Hop, Modern Dance and Adult Ballet classes are also offered at CCDE

* Class placement is based on skill achievment and is at the discretion of the Artistic Director.  Ages provided are meant to serve as a general guideline.
