DEENA LASKA LEWIS: ARTISTIC DIRECTOR
Ms. Deena trained at the Julliard School of Music in New York City, North Carolina School of the Arts, and received her Bachelors of Fine Arts degree from Indiana University. Her education includes training in Horton, Graham, Limon and Vaganova techniques. At CCDE, Deena employs a graded Russian syllabus that stresses education on muscle structure for correct placement and alignment for dance development.

JAIME REININGA: JAZZ/MODERN/TAP/PRE-BALLET INSTRUCTOR
Jaime graduated from Ball State University in 2000 with a degree in Dance Performance and minors in Dance Education and Business Management. Jaime is originally from Shelbyville, IN and moved to Evansville after college where she is employed at Cintas. She has been teaching and choreographing dance in the tri-state for 9 years.

SADIA RAGLAND: PRE-BALLET/BALLET I INSTRUCTOR
Sadia recently graduated from the University of Evansville with a B.S. degree in Art and a minor in Education. Sadia was a cheerleader with the Indianapolis Colts for 2 seasons. Sadia has taken a summer internship at Alvin Ailey American Dance Company in New York where she was trained in Horton, Graham and different modern and African techniques. Sadia has been a Company member with CCDE and has performed throughout the tri-state.

JANET ELLERT: BALLET I, BALLET II, POINTE INSTRUCTOR
Janet received her associate’s degree in dance from Vincennes University. She has taught at Metropolitan Academy of Dance, and Evansville Dance Theater.

JOVANNI DiLEGGE: TAP, JAZZ & HIP HOP INSTRUCTOR
Jovanni graduated from the University of Evansville and is currently directing the University of Evansville’s Dance Team.

BETH RODRIGUEZ:  MODERN DANCE INSTRUCTOR  
Beth trained at the University of Louisville Dance Academy and then danced under scholarship at Ball State University.  Beth earned her masters in education from New York University.  Her choreography has been shown in NYC at Williamsburg Arts Nexus, BRIC, Brooklyn Arts Exchange, chashama, Dixon Place & Merce Cunningham Studio.  As an arts educator, she has taught in outreach settings with Groove With Me in Harlem, instructed special needs populations and most recently as adjunct faculty at Indiana University.  She has offered master classes in Poland, Belarus, and St. Petersburg, Russia. 

KATY O'NAN:  TUMBLING & TUMBLING FOR CHEER   
Katy began teaching gymnastics in 1993 in Henderson, Kentucky. She has taught a wide variety of classes including tumbling, recreational gymnastics, beginning and intermediate gymnastics. Katie was a competitive gymnast and cheerleader in her youth and later coached the Gymnastics Unlimited competitive team.

JOLIE DeVRIES:  PRE-BALLET
Jolie graduated from USI with a degree in Communications/Theatre Arts.  She has studied ballet, tap, jazz, theatre and classical violin.  Jolie is a professional violinist and has also holds a Master's degree in Elementary Education. 

KATELIN SCHOENBAECHLER:  PRE-BALLET/BALLET I/ BALLET II/ POINTE
Katelin has been a student of CCDE for 11 years under the direction of Artistic Director, Deena Laska. Katelin has been a member of Company for the past 7 years and is currently Captain of the Dance Team at Castle High School where she is a Senior.    Her experience includes training at the Ballet Intensive from Moscow under direction of Dmitri Rudnev, Summer Intensive at the Atlanta Ballet under direction of Sharon Story, Principal roles in CCDE productions and assistant instructor at CCDE for the past 4 years. 

ISAIAH MATTAS:  LATIN DANCE
Isaiah is a graduate of Kentucky Wesleyan and comes to CCDE after having taught dance at Musick Studios in Owensboro.  He will incorporate elements of Latin Ballroom dance into the course content.
